The pancake machine at that hotel may have had a bit of a heating element issue that morning. Maybe if they just add lots of maple syrup and butter, they won't even be able to notice the difference anymore.
There Should Be A Rule That If The Pool Is Closed, The Price Is Reduced, Who's With Me?
Apparently, this hotel cost over $200 and was booked mid-summer. Yet the pool remains closed and the reason is unclear. As a lot of people book their hotels based on the amenities they promise, the price should reflect it when they can't meet those promises.

Technically, the Airbnb ad was not a lie. These bricks are part of the church... Perhaps a rental a little more elevated would have worked better. You get what you pay for.
Fun-Sized Breakfast Pancakes
Unless you're feeding these to a toddler, you'd need at least 10 of them to actually feel full, and even then, toddlers eat a lot. Maybe the hotel is not aware that they're able to control the size of pancake the machine produces.
If It Ever Has The Word "Free" In It, Don't Get Your Hopes Up
It is doubtful the image on the left actually illustrated a real "complimentary breakfast" at that hotel and wasn't just some stock photo. That's the danger of getting excited about anything "free." Costs have to be cut somewhere...
You Know A Painting Is Good When You Can't Tell Which Is Real
This hotel painting does such a good job of portraying what you'll be looking at that you can barely tell which is the painting and which is real life. This also shows that not much of the town has changed over the years.
The Ad Had Said "AC Included"...
Although this is definitely not what you picture when you think of AC, it is in fact some kind of cooling system where air blows into an icebox. Usually, though, there is at least a fan facing the icebox so the cool air has somewhere to go.
They might just have to rely on the cold water bottle instead.
Honestly, It Looks Better Than It Does On The Menu
Is it just me, or does the room service pizza look like it has a smiley face? Yes, it may be missing half the ingredients that were advertised in the room service menu, but maybe they did it on purpose for the sake of art?
They Didn't Show The Sand In The Ad For A Reason
This hotel advertisement for a private beach got a young woman excited to spend her graduation there. To her disappointment, she found that the sand of the private beach was actually so full of seaweed that you couldn't actually make it to the water.
