Although 2020 might have been a rough year for travel, Disney fans have plenty to look forward to in 2021. Disney parks worldwide have been closed or modified, but the company's "Imagineers" have been hard at work coming up with fabulous new experiences for guests. There are lots of exciting restaurants, hotels, and rides opening soon.

EPCOT in Orlando, Florida, has gotten a historic overhaul and will soon be unveiling a new Guardians of the Galaxy-themed roller coaster as well as a space station-themed restaurant. There's also an upcoming attraction called Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, in which visitors get to race across a giant kitchen floor in special trackless ride cars.

Also in Orlando, Disney World's Magic Kingdom is celebrating its 50th anniversary on October 1 2021, with plenty of fun festivities for everyone. A new coaster-style attraction called TRON Lightcycles is already on display for the milestone event. Riders will soon be able to zoom through Tomorrowland on a train of two-wheeled Lightcycles. Additionally, Blizzard Beach water park will be reopening on March 7th, while Disney’s Wilderness Lodge will reopen in 2021.

While a date has yet to be announced, Disney California Adventure Park will soon see the opening of Avengers Campus. This epic complex will be the home of multiple new attractions such as a Spider-Man ride and the Avengers Headquarters!

Across the globe, other Disney parks have openings slated for 2021, including a new hotel and Cars-themed ride at Disneyland Paris, a Fantasy Springs attraction at Tokyo DisneySea, a Beauty and the Beast ride at Tokyo Disneyland Park, and an eighth themed land at Shanghai Disneyland... just to name a few.
