Traveling is so exciting, especially when you get to go to a place you've always dreamed of visiting. But there is nothing more disappointing than finding out that the place you've been wanting to go all this time is a little bit underwhelming, or at least some of the tourist attractions there are.
These people were so upset by some of the tourist attractions they saw that they took to Trip Advisor to let the world know how they felt.
Edinburgh Castle Did Not Live Up To This Person's Expectations
I bet if I took a poll of people who have been or want to go to Edinburgh Castle, not many of them would think that there would be a bar for you to drink at.
Yes, Build It Bigger
I would love to know where this person is seeing LEGO towers because I have a hard time believing that there would be any bigger than Big Ben. Like, you can't just make it taller! Who thinks that sort of stuff?
Ah Yes, Arthur's Seat Is Not An Actual Seat
I get wanting to be surprised by some of the places you visit on your vacation, but do a little bit of research. I mean, come on, did they think they would climb the ridge and there would just be a chair you can sit in?
Yosemite The Eye Sore
Yosemite National Park is thought to be one of the most beautiful places in the world. What would it have to do to live up to the standards of this person?
Very Clever Caption
Imagine going to a place like France where they speak a different language and then being mad about it when you get there? I'm not an expert, but I assume the people in France will, indeed, speak French.
I'm Sure Anne Frank Thought It Was Claustrophobic Too
When you're visiting a place that has great historical significance, especially if it's a sad chapter in history, you might not want to leave a review commenting on how terrible it was...that was probably the point.
The Great Wall Of China Isn't So Great
I suppose when it comes down to it, The Great Wall of China is a wall, and maybe once you've seen some of it, you've seen all of it and that's that.
Imagine Being Angry That People Were Partying In Vegas?
Getting a good night's sleep in important, I get that. But, when you go to Las Vegas, you have to expect a certain amount of noise and carrying on. That's like the whole point of Las Vegas.
Another Big Ben Hater
If they were going to make Big Ben into a digital clock, which I don't see them ever doing, they probably would have done it by now. Not everything is going to be modernized.
Pffft, Central Park
Central Park is probably a lot of grass and trees because it is a park. However, I doubt that many people who walk into the park think it would be a good idea to rent a helicopter to see it.
Windsor Castle Is No Place For Fun
There is nothing quite like harassing another human while on vacation to make you have a memorable vacation. The poor guard. I wonder how many times that happens to them a day.
Warwick Castle Doesn't Have Princesses
OK, to be fair, I would be a little peeved if I went to visit a place and everything cost extra money. They also come for the tourists like that, don't they?
This Is Shockingly Aggressive
I'm curious about what it was exactly about Big Ben that left them so unsettled. Was it the historical significance? Its cool clock face or size? I wonder if they went home to watch V for Vendetta after.
Nothing Like Relaxing At The Roman Baths
On the surface, I get how the Roman Baths could seem like they were boring. They are a place to go and relax, after all. But take some time and enjoy those healing waters and the history!
Did Anyone Think That It Was?
When you hear "The Eye of London," you might not be sure what it is right away, but do you actually picture a giant eye looking over the pier? How?
Don't Go To The Royal Botanical Gardens
If you got to the Royal Botanical Gardens, don't be upset if you don't see anything than plants...like that's not exactly what the name and purpose of the site would suggest.
Why Did There Need To Be Crying?
There are a lot of mountains in the world that are higher than Ben Nevis, but that's neither here nor there. What else did this person think was going to happen when they visited a mountain?
When You Hear National Gallery, What Do You Think Of?
Two things. Number one: you would assume that a gallery is actually full of pictures since that is the point of it. Number two: maybe don't bring kids somewhere you think they'll need extra entertainment?
Stonehenge? What About It?
Yes, let's tear down Stonehenge and erase all that history and the questions we still want answered and put an arcade there, because that's a good use of the space.
Is It Weird This Makes Me Want To Stay There?
There are probably a lot of haunted hotels in the world! It does seem a little bit steep that the hotel would charge them for the whole day when they probably knew all along there was a ghost up there, though.
